When it comes to celebrity custody battles, let's just say they can get pretty messy -- especially if said celebrities were once an A-list Hollywood couple. Most of us know Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's custody battle has been very ... colorful to say the least. And now, it looks like things are about to get interesting. Reports are surfacing that Angelina Jolie could lose primary custody of her six children with Brad Pitt if she doesn't start making changes to how they interact with their dad.

  • A judge reportedly ordered "new restrictions" regarding Angelina's participation in how Brad interacts with the kids.

Angelina filed for divorce from Brad back in September 2016, after the Fury actor got into an altercation with his now 16-year-old son Maddox on a plane. The FBI closed its child abuse investigation months later, absolving Brad of wrongdoing.

In addition to Maddox, Brad and Angelina have Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 9.

  • "[The children] not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them," a judge mentioned in new court documents, People reports.

"It is critical that each of them have a healthy and strong relationship with their father and mother," the judge continued about Brad and Angie's custody case.

  • While there aren't specific details about what triggered this new ruling, one thing is clear: Angelina is "in danger of losing primary custody."

"If the minor children remain closed down to their father and depending on the circumstances surrounding this condition, it may result in a reduction of the time they spend with [Jolie] and may result in the Court ordering primary physical custody to [Pitt]," the judge added.

  • As a result, the judge created a visitation schedule for Brad to see his children over the summer.

The Blast reports Brad Pitt will have time to spend time with his children -- except for Maddox, who will make the decision on his own as he's 16 -- for a certain amount of hours (with a child therapist present) throughout the summer months while the family is in London. "From July 21 through July 29, Pitt will get custody of the kids when he's back in California," the publication added. "Jolie is responsible for the children traveling back to Los Angeles and Pitt will be responsible for getting them back to London afterward .... While in the care of Pitt, Jolie is only allowed to call the kids one time per day at a time agreed on in advance by both parents."

  • Needless to say, the interwebs have a lot to say about the matter.
