Khloe Kardashian Claps Back at Mommy-Shamers Hating on Her Gym Time

A month after giving birth to baby True, social media users are shaming Khloe Kardashian, all because she's been spending a lot of time back in the gym. But apparently she isn't having it. Khloe is hitting back at the haters who are tearing her apart, and we are so here for it. 

  • Khloe has been very serious about squeezing her workouts in.

    Since Khloe gave birth to her daughter True, last month, she hasn't been too active on social media. But she did take to Snapchat to let fans know that exercising is more difficult now than before she had her baby. 

    "The beginning parts of working out kind of suck because you're pushing your body so hard, you're so tired," she explained. "It's much more difficult than you expect it to be. I've been working out for 11 days now, I feel really good, but tired. My body is sore because it's re-waking itself back up."

  • Twitter users are now accusing her of "focusing too much" on her post-baby bod. 

  • Some people said Khloe is putting "pressure" on other new moms. 

    Khloe isn't saying it's what everybody has to do, she's saying it's what she likes to do. A lot of new mamas don't take time for themselves, so we're happy to see that she is. That's an example more women could follow, whether that's time at the gym, doing their nails, or spending time with friends. Whatever makes them feel good! 

  • Others thought she wasn't giving her body enough time to recover from childbirth. 

    Umm, that's sex. It's actually totally healthy to work out just days after having a baby. There's nothing wrong with her taking a little time for herself. 

  • Khloe wasn't about to let those comments stand, so she clapped back at the haters. 

    She shared a Snapchat video saying: “What I'm annoyed about is I've read a couple of times on Twitter that they feel that I'm focusing too much on my body, but the truth is, I've worked out five or six days a week before I got pregnant and that's my sanctuary and something I love to do. I want to start doing that now and get back to my rhythm and in between feedings I want to find time to work out because that's going to be my new normal. Just because I have a baby doesn't mean I have to stop doing the things that I love, and I love working out and getting my mind right."

  • Khloe also admitted it's a struggle getting back "into the groove" after baby.

    She explained that it's hard to work out after having a baby. “It is a struggle getting back into the groove of working out. Mentally, I’m strong, but physically it’s just not the same. My body is not doing what I feel like my mind is telling it to do. So that’s a struggle, but it’s only day one," she said.

    We hope Khloe isn't putting too much pressure on herself to look the same as she did before True was born, but we're excited to see her setting aside time for self-care. Get it, girl!
