Preparations are well under way for the royal wedding this Saturday, which means of course that it's time for the bride and groom to pop over to the venue to check on how everything is going. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted leaving Kensington Palace for Windsor Castle on Thursday, and it looks like they had quite the entourage.

  • Meghan flashed her gorgeous engagement ring as the pair made their way outside London to visit Windsor, where they will be married on Saturday.

They rode in a chauferred Range Rover, along with a group of police officers on motorcycles. A witness told Us Weekly that the couple was "smiling" and "looked very happy." Let's hope so, considering that their wedding is less than two days away!

  • Kate Middleton also made the trek with them, marking one of her first public appearances since giving birth to Prince Louis just over a month ago.

The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted earlier this week walking her newborn and Princess Charlotte through Kensington Gardens, but this time she appeared to be sans Prince Louis. While Prince George and Princess Charlotte are going to be a page boy and a bridesmaid in the wedding, it's believed that Louis will be spending the day with Nanny Maria or grandma Carole Middleton.

  • Even the queen is reportedly heading over to Windsor, for tea with the happy couple, of course!

It's a good thing Queen Elizabeth is such a fan of her grandson's fiancée, as the wedding wouldn't be happening if she hadn't given her consent. She made it completely official this week by releasing the Instrument of Consent, her handwritten approval of the union.

  • Kensington Palace also added a photo of the ongoing wedding rehearsals to Instagram on Thursday.

They captioned this scene, "Rehearsing for the big day: Members of the Armed Forces were among those taking part in a dress rehearsal of the Carriage procession through Windsor Town and The Long Walk today for the #RoyalWedding."

It looks like everything is going smoothly so far, despite the drama this week with Meghan's family. Giving how heartbreaking that situation has been, we're glad that everything else seems to be going off without a hitch. We're keeping our fingers crossed for no snafus or surprises this Saturday!
