Are those wedding bells we hear? Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson have been engaged for several months now, which means the wedding has to be close, right? Considering that Duggar engagements usually last around three to four months, we'd say the wedding is right around the corner.

  • The Duggar fan Facebook page Pickles and Hairspray apparently got inside info about the wedding date -- and it's SOON.

They reported this week, "According to a source, Josiah and Lauren's wedding will be on June 30." This sounds about right, considering that they announced that they were engaged in early March. That's just under four months, and considering how handsy they've been throughout their courtship, the wedding likely can't get here soon enough for them.

  • Of course there is a registry for the couple with a date of December 31, but it's common Duggar practice at this point to put a decoy date on the registry.

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth's wedding registry had a date listed for October 2017, yet they ended up tying the knot four months earlier in May. Of course that didn't help with those shotgun wedding rumors, but that's a story for another day.

  • Anyway, back to Josiah and Lauren, because apparently some fans have a big problem with their June wedding date, and even think they're being selfish.

Rumor has it that Joseph Duggar's wife Kendra (Caldwell) is due mid-June, and Jinger (Duggar) and Jeremy Vuolo revealed earlier this year that they're expecting in July. Considering that Jinge lives in Texas, and we assume the wedding will be in Arkansas, it means that she won't be able to attend. It's anyone's guess as to whether that was a personal slight, or just bad timing.

  • Of course, we can't be sure that it's June 30, since Josiah and Lauren have been tight-lipped about it.

It's possible they had someone leak a false date, just to throw us off. The only thing we can say with some confidence is that it's probably going to be sooner rather than later. It is the Duggar way of weddings, after all.
