Looks like the third time won't be the charm. Anna Faris is questioning marriage and the purpose of saying "I do," which is pretty understandable given her past. And let's just say the Mom star's confession is sparking all sorts of side-eyes from critics who feel her ex-husband Chris Pratt "can do much better." (Yikes.)

  • Anna recently opened up about marriage on Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast.

Anna Faris's first marriage to Ben Indra lasted four years before the couple got divorced in 2008. A year later, she and Chris Pratt tied the knot, resulting in an eight-year union and a son named Jack. The couple shocked the world with news of their split last August, with Faris reportedly moving on to Overboard cinematographer Michael Barrett one month after their breakup announcement.

  • "I need to figure out what the purpose [of marriage] is," she admitted on the podcast.

"Is it safety for your children? Is it convention? Is it so other people respect your relationship more? For me, I'm just not quite sure where it fits," Anna continued.

  • No matter her questions, Anna has nothing but love for her ex Chris Pratt and their family.

"We had an unbelievable marriage and we have a great friendship now," she tells Dax Shepard about her current relationship with Chris Pratt. "And we love our son to death, and I'm really proud of that, because I'm not sure I did that well the first time."

  • Still, folks don't seem to be here for Anna's honesty, and they're accusing her of being unwilling to remain faithful in a marriage.

You already know where these comments are going -- and while Anna did once confess to wanting to cheat on her first husband with Chris Pratt, there aren't receipts to prove she stepped out during any of her marriages.

  • And some people think she's focusing on competition too much in her marriage to Chris Pratt.

  • Others feel Anna is being bitter.

These reactions are all over the place.

  • They believe Chris Pratt "can do much better."

It seems like this Anna Faris interview ruffled a few feathers with her f-bombs.

  • And they say that Anna has some personal issues as suggested by her need to "jump from man to man."

    Yikes!

  • Feel free to turn down the shade; we don't need that much today.

Divorces happen all the time, especially in Hollywood. Who are we to judge Anna for how she feels about the idea?
