Baby makes three! It's been just over a week since Joy-Anna (Duggar) and Austin Forsyth welcomed sweet baby Gideon to their family, and in a new video from TLC yesterday, it looks like they're settling right into parenthood.

  • The couple had previously shared a few photos of the cutie pie, but this is his official video debut.

Joy introduced her son to the camera, saying, "We are so happy to announce the arrival of our baby, Gideon Martyn Forsyth."

Gideon was born on February 23, weighing in at 10 pounds, 3 ounces, and measuring 22 inches long. In a statement to PEOPLE magazine, the couple said, "We are blessed beyond measure with the arrival of our son, Gideon Martyn Forsyth. Looking at our child for the first time was such an incredible moment! God is good, and we are so thankful!"

  • Austin explained why they chose the name they did -- and of course it has special meaning.

He said, "We chose Gideon because it's a strong biblical name and the character in the bible was someone who was willing to follow the Lord, and he was a strong leader. And Martyn is my middle name, and it was my granddad's on my mother's side middle name, so, we just thought our firstborn should have my middle name."

  • Joy also seems thrilled that she has a son.

Joy and Austin opted not to find out the gender before Gideon was born, but they are already loving the idea of a little boy. She shared, "I think Austin's really excited to have a baby boy because he's been wanting to have someone to take to work and to go do a lot of different hobbies and to teach him all the skills that Austin knows."

She added, "And I'm excited because, I don't know ... he's just our baby." Truer words from a new mom have ever been spoken! She continued, "I think being first-time parents is really indescribable. I think everybody that has a baby goes through this feeling of just being so proud and so thankful to have a little one."

  • She also confessed her first challenge of motherhood -- sleep schedules.

While she said that the "first few days have been really good," she did admit that Gideon "likes to eat a lot." Any mom who has parenting a newborn can attest to those tiny tummies needing constant feeding, whether by breast or bottle.

And then there's the whole sleeping thing. Joy explained, "He sleeps a lot during the day and is up a lot during the night. So I'm trying to switch that around, but he's done really good."

We couldn't be happier for this couple and their precious baby son. Hopefully he gives mama a break with a good, long nap soon!
