They were always destined to be! An old video clip was recently unearthed of a 13-year-old Kate Middleton being told she'd marry a man named William. The clip is from a play Kate did when she was younger, and we have to say: The duchess has taken "life imitating art" to a new level.

  • People magazine recently posted the adorable video of Kate acting in a school play when she was a student at St. Andrew’s Preparatory School in Buckhold.

In the clip, Kate wears a long white dress while talking to a fortune teller who tells her: “Soon you will meet a handsome man, a rich gentleman.”

“It is all I ever hoped for. Will he fall in love with me?” Kate replies.

“Indeed he will,” the fortune teller says.

    “And marry me?” Kate asks.

“And marry you,” the fortune teller replies.

Then Kate asks if this mystery man will "take me away from here," to which the fortune teller says: "Yes, to London."

"Oh, how my heart flutters!" Kate squeals.

  • And in the final scene, when said mystery man gets down on one knee to propose, Kate says, "Yes, yes, dear William!"

    What the what!

  • Talk about strange!

As we all know, William and Kate met at university and, lo and behold, they got married and he whisked her off to London. Clearly, that teen fortune teller knew a thing or two.

  • With their third baby on the way, we'd say that William and Kate have exceeded any fortune teller's predictions about their romance.
