When Kylie Jenner announced she had given birth to daughter Stormi Webster with boyfriend Travis Scott on February 1 after nine months of keeping her pregnancy a secret, fans had just one thing on their minds: When do we get to see her?!

Well, folks, it seems the wait is over.

  • On March 3, Kylie took to Snapchat to share the sweetest photo of her little girl where we finally get to see her face.

  • Just look at that sweet face!

  • Just days before, Kylie teased fans with full body photos while holding little Stormi, with her face just out of view.

So it was particularly nice that fans didn't have to wait too much longer to really get a good look at her.

She also treated the world to her "snap-back" postpartum pics earlier this month as well.

  • For the most part, the Internet collectively swooned over her little face.

  • But the most insidious of all? Comments that imply Stormi's light-skinned complexion means she can't possibly be Travis Scott's child.

  • People are talking like this about a BABY?

    What year is this?

  • Colorism is an extreme issue that impacts interracial families, and while the commentary here is focused around the legitimacy of her parentage, it ultimately serves to delegitimize Stormi's "Blackness."

Just because a child is mixed doesn't mean we can dismiss his or her Black identity.

Can't we just appreciate a cute baby when we see one and move on?
