Joseph Duggar's Wife Kendra Admits How Hard Pregnancy Has Been on Her

It's been a rough few months! Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell just gave fans another pregnancy update, and it seems it's been harder on her than we knew. The Counting On stars tied the knot in September, and announced they were expecting just a few months later.

  • The newlyweds shared a sweet video to give fans an update on her pregnancy.

"During my pregnancy, I've had a lot of morning sickness and I think it's slowly subsiding. But other than that, it's been good," the 19-year-old confessed.

  • They shared earlier this week that they're expecting a little boy in 2018.

Joseph mentioned in the video that he had had a feeling that a boy was on the way. He said, "I had said that I thought we would probably have a boy, but I was still surprised that I was actually right on that."

As for Kendra, she was thinking pink. After admitting that she thought they were going to have a girl, she said that she's totally on the boy train now. "I'm excited about all of the little outfits you can put on him and the little bowties," she said.

  • They also shared what they're looking forward to most about having a son.

Joe said, "I think the thing that most excites me about having a son is that I’m going to be able to raise him up, teach him a lot of things that I do and I think that a lot of our interests will probably be similar."

Kendra also said that their nursery for the new baby is still a work in progress. She explained, "Right now, the nursery color scheme is more grays and white, but we'll probably end up putting a little more touches of blue in there. We have not shopped for any baby clothes yet. I figured we'll do that after we found out the gender, so I guess we can start now."
  • We couldn't be happier for this couple and their new little one on the way.

Congrats again to them, and we're glad to hear that Kendra is feeling much better after the first trimester yuckiness!
