She has a secret weapon! There's no doubt that Meghan Markle, duchess-to-be, has a beautiful face. The former actress recently revealed that she has a special technique for keeping her skin looking gorgeous, and it was really the last thing we expected.

  • In a recent interview, Prince Harry's fiancée said that she does "face yoga" to keep her skin smooth and taunt.

She told Birchbox, "I do facial exercises from one of my favorite aestheticians, Nicola Joss, who basically has you sculpt your face from the inside out. I swear it works, as silly as you may feel. On the days I do it, my cheekbones and jawline are waaaay more sculpted. There’s a reason she is in high demand around awards season when every actress wants to look A-plus."

  • We knew that Meghan is a huge fan of yoga, but face yoga? What the heck it that?

The technique is widely credited to New York yoga teacher Annelise Hagen, who even published a book on it in 2006, titled Yoga Face. The exercises include making a "surprised" face to smooth out your forehead, puffing your cheeks out to firm them up, and swallowing while pointing your chin at the ceiling to work out those jowls.

When Hagen learned that Markle followed her facial exercise regimen, she told Yahoo Lifestyle, "It's super validating when someone like that is associating with the work I've done. I'm happy to hear Meghan is embracing it. She's a positive role model for beauty, inside and out."

  • Honestly though, we're going to give this one to Meghan, and maybe even try it ourselves.

She is, after all, the 36-year-old who looks at least a decade younger. It could have more to do with genetics and her healthy lifestyle, but why take the chance?
