You can sit with us. Shortly after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement, speculation about the guest list began. In addition to wondering who was going to be invited to the special occasion, conjecture about who was going to be excluded began. When talking about the latter, Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew's ex-wife, was often brought up. But now a palace source is reporting that Sarah will be at Harry and Meghan's wedding without a doubt.

  • After her divorce from Prince Andrew in 1996, Sarah -- aka the Duchess of York -- has been left out of numerous royal events. But Harry and Meghan will be extending an invitation to her to share in their special day.

"Invitations for Harry and Meghan's wedding are expected to go out the first week of March. Despite reports to the contrary, Sarah Ferguson will be receiving one and attending," a royal source told Us Weekly. "Harry has always intended to invite Sarah to the wedding. He is very close to Eugenie and Beatrice and their mother is just as much family as their father. Harry and Meghan have total control over who goes to the wedding and there was never an issue at the Palace about Sarah being invited. No push back from anyone."

  • On the contrary, Fergie wasn't invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding in 2011.

  • In a post–royal wedding TV interview, the Duchess of York said, "I was not invited. I chose to go and be in Thailand in a place called Camelia ... the jungle embraced me."

She added that getting snubbed was rough "because I wanted to be there with my girls ... to be getting them dressed and to go as a family."

  • Fergie's invitation shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, as Meghan and Harry's wedding seems to be shaping up to be a little less formal than Will and Kate's, with a few personalized touches of their own.

  • But, man. Things may be a little awkward when Will and Kate run into Fergie during the cocktail hour.
