Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement last week, the Internet has been collectively rejoicing with virtual champagne pops and talk of how this is a Hallmark movie incarnate. But perhaps one of the most delightful mini celebrations to come out of the royal engagement was the realization on Twitter this week that Harry and Meghan's romance basically is the sequel to Love Actually.

  • It all started when Travon Free tweeted side-by-side photos of Harry and Sam (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) and Meghan and Joanna (Olivia Olson) from the movie.

There's no denying it: The physical resemblance is uncanny.

  • Immediately, fans started retweeting the photo, along with comments of their own.

  • "It's the sequel we deserve," one fan wrote.

  • Another put in a request to have the image printed on a t-shirt, mug, mousepad, and billboard.

  • But the greatest reaction came in the form of a GIF of Andrew Lincoln professing his love for Keira Knightley with cue cards.

    Perfect indeed.

  • The likeness of little Sam and Joanna to Harry and Meghan is pretty unbelievable.

  • But let's not forget one thing: Harry IS a prince.

Seeing him get the girl in the end isn't quite as satisfying or surprising. But hey, who doesn't love it when life imitates art? Or tries to, at least.
