Brian Austin Green Discusses Dating Megan Fox When She Was 18
It's been a minute since these two first got together, and now, we're getting some insight into how their love story began. Recently, Brian Austin Green opened up about Megan Fox and how he was hesitant dating her considering he was 30 at the time and she was just 18.
Brian discussed his hesitance about dating Megan during a recent episode on the KFC Radio podcast.
Can we just stop and take a quick pause to say David Silver (if you aren't a Beverly Hills, 90210 or BH90210 fan, kindly scroll on) is still fine?
Brian Austin Green will forever be a top five '90s heartthrob.
"I met Megan on ['Hope & Faith'], and she was really young," he admitted on the podcast.
"And I was like, 'This isn't this. This can't [expletive] happen. This isn't going to happen, no way,'" he continues, talking about Megan Fox being 18 when they met on the set of the show back in 2014.
"And so I left and she was just really persistent, and thank God."
Brian quickly had a change of heart after Megan told him she was going to move on to the next person after being denied.
"I was like, 'Wait a second, I didn't say go date, please!'" the 90210 star continued. "That's when I realized I was, like, '[expletive], I must be really into this situation, the thought of that kills me ... You know, it's funny because you talk about Megan now because you know her after all of that. But you know, this was when I met her -- [she] was pre-Transformers. It was pre- all that."
Megan Fox has opened up about her pursuit of Brian Austin Green in the past and doing what was needed to convince him to date her.
"I had to convince him that I was slightly more responsible and well-spoken and had other things to bring to the table besides being 18," the celeb mom told Elle back in 2009 about wanting to date Brian when she was barely legal.
Welp, it looks like it worked out!
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green said "I do" in 2010 and have three sons together: Noah, 6, Bodhi, 5, and Journey, 3. Brian also has a 17-year-old son, Kassius, with his 90210 costar, Vanessa Marcil.
Looks like everything worked out just nicely.
Although their ups and downs have made headlines (months ago, Megan filed to dismiss her divorce from Brian), it seems like these two are trucking. Hopefully they're able to get the happily ever after they want.
