Of course she did. No matter what walk of life we're from or how high-brow our daily Internet intake is, we all would know Kate Middleton's 2011 wedding dress from a thousand miles away. The gorgeous Sarah Burton–designed Alexander McQueen gown with lace sleeves and a sweetheart neckline took the world's breath away the minute Kate stepped out onto the red carpet of Westminster Abbey. It was, in a word, stunning. But what many people don't know is that the duchess actually did an outfit change at her reception. That's right, Kate had two wedding dresses. What else would you expect from a princess?

After the day's events, Kate changed into an equally gorgeous ivory satin gown, again with a sweetheart neckline, and again, designed by Sarah Burton. The dress was a little more forgiving on the lower half (for dancing, we presume?) and came with a glitzy rhinestone belt. The duchess also swapped her half-up, half-down hairstyle for long, loose waves. And completing the look was a gorgeous white angora bolero cardigan.

Kate is yet to make a fashion faux pas, so it's no surprise that this dress is incredible and the subtle "change of look" was perfect for evening.

More from CafeMom:

Actually, Kate wasn't the only one who switched up her attire come night time. The royal couple had two receptions (natch), one during the day after the ceremony, and the other at night (hosted by Prince Charles) for their inner circle only. At the second reception, everyone changed -- Prince William switched his military uniform into a black tuxedo, and Pippa Middleton changed out of her cream bridesmaid dress into an emerald evening gown. Pippa apparently did the same at her wedding a few months ago, as well.

Kate always kills it in the style department, so it's certainly no surprise that her secret wedding dress was so perfect. But what a treat for so many people who are just getting to see the "secret wedding dress" now.
