Families are guaranteed to go through their ups and downs, but one can only hope things become mendable ... and don't spill onto social media. Rosie O'Donnell's Twitter tirade accuses her estranged daughter, Chelsea Alliegro, of trying to profit off the recent suicide of Rosie's ex-wife Michelle Rounds and the distant relationship the 20-year-old mom-to-be has with her famous mother.

  • Chelsea spoke to the media to announce her pregnancy and declare Rosie will not have a relationship with her first grandchild.

"It's very exciting and I'm looking forward to it. But Rosie will not be in my child's life -- and no, I do not feel sad about that to be honest," Alliegro, who's expecting her first child with husband Nick Alliegro, told the Daily Mail in an exclusive interview. "Rosie and I don't have a relationship anymore. I don't think it can ever be mended. I really don't think there is any hope for our relationship."

Sadly, Chelsea does not have a relationship with her siblings either, which she feels is a result of her and Rosie's tumultuous relationship. "I hope to speak to them eventually but I don't want to push it," Alliegro mentioned. "They stopped talking to me and then I lost all their numbers."

  • Chelsea also spoke at length about Rosie's ex-wife Michelle, which Rosie feels crossed the line.

  • "U wanna go a few rounds in public[?]" Rosie questions in a Twitter post. "Seems so. Michelle's death = money 4 Chelsea."

  • And the tweets didn't stop there, as Rosie challenged her daughter's claims with a series of throwback family photos and videos.

"U want no part of me, stop doing interviews kid," Rosie captions on her video of her 4-year-old daughter Dakota playing with a dog as Chelsea sits nearby.

Chelsea alleges in her Daily Mail interview that she experienced both physical and verbal incidents with Rosie, which is part of the reason the two have been estranged for years.

  • Rosie also shared a letter then-17-year-old Chelsea purportedly wrote before running away to reveal there was love in this family.

  • Many have taken issue with Rosie's airing her family's laundry on Twitter, including mention of Chelsea's husband allegedly abusing her.

"Did u hate me this day? last year - at the apple store - was this b4 nick was arrested for beating u up? same same," Rosie writes on Twitter.

Chelsea and her husband Nick married last summer after meeting in a Dunkin Donuts three months prior, Us Weekly reports.

  • But it appears she may no longer have direct access to her daughter, which is likely the reason Rosie felt the need to write (and vent) on Twitter.

  • Hopefully this family can try to mend fences (if that's even possible) and get the help they need.

    This is all very sad.
