It's a family affair! According to a new report, Kim Kardashian is planning a big party for the birth of her third child. Kim and Kanye, who hired a surrogate to carry their baby due to the serious complications that the Selfish author suffered with her last two pregnancies, will be in the delivery room for the birth of their child. No surprise there. But meanwhile, waiting in a suite next door will be Kim's entire extended family, so they can celebrate the joyous occasion with the couple. How very Kardashian.

An insider revealed to the Sun, "Kim had very difficult pregnancies with both North and Saint, so she couldn't have her family around her for those births. This time, she wants to be really in the moment -- there for every second of the birth, and wants to bond with the baby immediately." They added that, as was the case with Kourtney giving birth to Mason, she wants all the people she loves to be there. "So many people have been with Kim and Kanye on this journey, they want to share the special moment with them," the source said.

Moer from CafeMom:

However, despite the fact that Kim and Kanye want their entire family there for the birth, they're trying to keep the surrogate as private and protected as possible.

The famous pair have spent over a million dollars on security guards to watch over their surrogate 24 hours a day. They also reportedly set her up in a house in a suburb where no one would ever expect to find her. "Kim and Kanye have rented a place about an hour outside LA in a very nondescript suburb in a middle-class neighborhood for their surrogate," the insider told the Sun. There also are six guards working on rotation to guard the unidentified woman, as well as a driver. This may sound a little elaborate to some, but after what happened to Kim in Paris, it's hard to blame her for being overly precautions.

Hopefully, Kim's surrogate will enjoy a happy, healthy, private pregnancy -- and Kim will enjoy the family-centric birth she's always wanted. Win-win.
