On Tuesday, Prince William attended the National Mental Health and Policing conference in Oxford, England, and, not surprisingly, the duke was asked about Kate Middleton's pregnancy. After speaking about the importance of mental health care, an audience member congratulated William about baby number three. Then, after thanking them, the future king made a rather candid admission about his current situation at home.

"Thank you, it's very good news," he said. "There's not much sleep going on at the moment." William didn't get into too many details as to why no one is sleeping, but he alluded to being linked to the hyperemesis gravidarum the duchess has been suffering from. William then revealed that he and Kate were able to "start celebrating this week," adding, "It was a bit anxious to start with."

More from CafeMom:

As with her previous pregnancies, Kate is suffering from extreme morning sickness. She reportedly was rushed to the hospital a few weeks ago, but sources say she's resting and being treated at home in Kensington Palace, which, let's be honest, isn't a bad place to feel like hell.

On Monday, Kensington Palace announced the good news on Twitter with an official statement, saying that the "Queen and both families are delighted with the news."

They also announced the news on Instagram with a sweet message and photo of the duke and duchess. "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child," the caption read.

Prince William was bound to break his silence on Kate's pregnancy sooner or later, given that he has public engagements to carry out. Hopefully, in the upcoming months, Kate will be feeling better and they can both comment on royal baby number three.

Feel better, Kate!
