There may be even more controversy surrounding Austin Forsyth than just his rumored shotgun wedding to Joy-Anna Duggar. As it turns out, her family might not have wanted her to marry him in the first place -- because he's considered a "rebel child."

It's hard to imagine this guy being a "rebel," but a source told Radar Online that "there has been a lot of talk about the character of [Joy's] new husband Austin ... He was more of a rebel child." The insider went as far as to say that Joy-Anna's sister-in-law Anna Duggar was very "disappointed in his character."

Before buying into these claims, however, please remember that Anna is still married to Josh Duggar, so we're having a hard time believing she had anything to say about Austin's character. Just saying.

Anyway, the source also said that Austin was "immature, arrogant and lacked experience." Hardly the recipe for moving up a wedding from October to May.

The couple were rumored to have a fall wedding date before unexpectedly tying the knot in late May. Then just last week, they announced their pregnancy on Instagram, and shared some baby bump pictures that made fans question exactly how far along Joy is in her pregnancy, and if the wedding had been moved up several months shotgun-style.

The couple admittedly had a tough time keeping to the courtship and engagement rules before their wedding, one time even touching hands before being engaged on Counting On. They also front-hugged with all of their clothes on after Austin popped the question, which clearly showed that they were out of their minds with lust. Or something.

During a reunion special, Austin recounted, "We're humans and sometimes we don't always abide perfectly by our rules. We try. That was a real hard try."

We're going to take these reports with a grain of salt. The family seems genuinely happy for Joy-Anna, and even though she's young, she has a good head on her shoulders. As for those shotgun wedding rumors -- who cares? They were already planning on getting married anyway, and now they're bringing a sweet little one into the world together. What else matters?
