In all things heartbreaking and beautiful that we wish never had to happen, Toni Cornell, the 12-year-old daughter of Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, sang a tear-jerking tribute to her dad and his close friend Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington this morning. Both Cornell and Bennington died just months apart in separate suicides and are survived by loving wives and 9 kids, collectively. And let's just say, as Toni sang, there wasn't a dry eye in the Good Morning America audience.

  • Today, in tribute to both the late singers, Toni, along with One Republic, sang a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah."

Chester Bennington performed this cover just a few months ago at his friend Chris Cornell's funeral. Sob!
