Bottoms up! At 91 years old, and with loads of responsibilities still, Queen Elizabeth certainly is entitled to a cocktail -- or four -- every night if she so pleases. In a re-released report from the Independent, it's been revealed that the queen enjoys four drinks a day, three of which are consumed by the time she's had lunch. Clearly, Queen Elizabeth can hold her own. Respect.

The report claims that the queen enjoys a gin and Dubonnet with a slice of lemon and "lots of ice" before lunch. Then, according to her late cousin Margaret Rhodes, during lunch, she has a dry gin martini. At meal's end, the monarch enjoys a piece of chocolate and a glass of wine. (But of course!) And then in the evening, she opts for a glass of champagne. According to Rhodes, the queen's alcohol intake "never varies." Hey, if it ain't broke.

It's been long reported that the queen is a creature of habit. In addition to her imbibing schedule, she also apparently has a piece of chocolate biscuit cake every day during tea; she likes the crusts cut off of her tuna sandwiches; and each morning, she likes a simple breakfast of cereal -- straight out of a Tupperware container.

At 91, Queen Elizabeth is going strong, so perhaps she's on to something here. Experts may disagree with having 28 cocktails a week, but there's certainly something to be said about indulging with pride.
