As the old saying goes, if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Such is the case with Kim Kardashian's new juggernaut of a makeup line. Despite the fact that it made the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star $14 million in a matter of minutes, it looks like it may wind up costing Kim. Why? Because someone is suing Kim over her makeup label. Time to lawyer up, Kimmy.

TMZ reports that Danish makeup artist Kirsten Kjaer Weiss is suing mad, as she thinks that the label for Kim's new cosmetics line -- which features her initials, KKW -- is too similar to the label for her cosmetics line, which features her initials, KW.

Court documents reportedly say that Kirsten feels Kim's makeup line is "confusing consumers," as it's too similar to her own. Kirsten also says Kim's infringement is "knowing, willing and deliberate." The makeup artist wants the court to prevent Kim from using "KKW" immediately, as well as to award her all of Kim's makeup profits and damages.

Um, seriously? If you look at the two labels, it's hard to understand how anyone would mix these two up.

They really don't look very similar.

More from CafeMom:

More likely than not, this will wind up being little more than a headache for Kim. Sources close to the mom of two say that her team spoke with "several veteran trademark attorneys when launching her KKW line to ensure there were no violations," TMZ reports. They're also confident that Kim's line doesn't infringe on Kirsten's line.

While it may be a little annoying to have a KKW makeup line come out when you have a KW line, what Kirsten is asking for is absurd. Kim is simply using her initials, as she does for many things -- and it in no way looks similar to Kirsten's line.

But hey, you've gotta respect Kirsten for trying. Fourteen mil is a lot of money.
