While he might be at odds with his brother Aaron, Nick Carter insists he's dedicated to family and he has the Instagram snaps to prove it. The Backstreet Boy treated fans to an intimate look at life in the Carter home featuring his sweet baby boy Odin.

Nick has been splitting his time between his family home and Los Angeles, where he's currently filming ABC's music competition Boy Band. While the 37-year-old received a lot of flack last week for what many on social media deemed as an insincere tweet in support of his embattled brother Aaron, the singer is working the #familyman hashtag overtime on IG.

Take, for instance, this adorable black-and-white pic Nick shared of himself holding his 15-month-old at bedtime.

The "Larger Than Life" crooner captioned the moment: "Father and son time right after bath and before bed. #parenting #babies #growinguptofast #love #family #familyman #odinsparents."

Of course this isn't to say that Nick isn't a doting father; it just appears as though he may be holding his family even more near and dear to his heart amidst the Aaron chaos. Or he's feeling super sentimental given how much traveling his busy work schedule requires. Either way, we're guessing he'll be playing this video of wife Lauren reading to baby Odin over and over again while he's away...

... or maybe gazing adoringly at this precious moment that he captioned: "The cutest thing is watching them discover. #family #babies #love #growinguptofast."

We've all fallen out with a family member at some point, and Nick and Aaron didn't exactly have the smoothest home life throughout their childhood to build an enduring bond. We hope the two can work things out, particulary because despite Aaron's claims to the contrary, it appears he could use some family right now.

"Nick made no efforts to call me, and he knows how to reach me," Aaron said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. He went on to say: "I don't need Nick's help. I don't need that. I don't need help. What I need is for people to understand that I'm human and I make mistakes just like every other human in this world."

Maybe so, Aaron, but we'd like to see the Carter brothers reconcile for the greater good anyway. Can't we all just get along?
