Kim Kardashian Isn't Here for People Criticizing North West's 'Corset'

Take a deep breath, everyone. North West was not wearing a real corset. When Kim Kardashian's daughter was spotted wearing a silky orange dress earlier on this week with what appeared to be a corset on top, the Internet, not surprisingly, freaked out. But Kim is not here for the critics. In fact, she just posted a few photos and videos to social media that should hush 'em up real quick.

Everyone knows that the Kardashian-Jenner girls are all fans of corsets and waist-trainers, but the "corset" North was wearing wasn't in fact a corset at all. It was a piece of cotton fabric. M'kay?

"I would never put my daughter in a corset! It's a dress I bought that is a cotton fabric that laces up & looks like a corset! Just decoration," the mom of two wrote on Twitter, along with a video demonstrating the dress.

"This dress that I did not design, I actually bought, is not a corset it's just fabric on the front. So, I think it's really cute, I bought it from a designer and it's just fabric people, it's not a real corset," she said in the clip.

More from CafeMom:

In another tweet, Kim posted a photo of the dress again, along with the caption: "Just decoration not a real corset."

Look, you can call Kim a lot of things, but she's certainly not an irresponsible mother. She's always fostered North's passion for fashion (what kid doesn't love dressing up like Mom?), but come on -- does anyone really think she'd lace North up in a corset? Letting her kid play around with makeup and high heels is one thing, but a corset is quite another -- Kim wouldn't go there.

No matter what Kim does, she's criticized, so this certainly doesn't come as a surprise. But let's all give the woman a little credit. She obviously knows where to draw the line.
