15 Beautifully Blended Celebrity Families

There is no one way to create a loving family, and sometimes it takes a bit of blending before things end up how they are supposed to be. Whether a family is lucky enough to have multiple co-parents, a stepparent who really does step up to the plate, or just extra sibling love to go around, it is always pleasant to see the many different ways a family can come together.

Not only have many celebrities made some pretty kick-ass stepparents, but many of them have also been successful in working together with ex-spouses or -partners to give their kids the best upbringing possible.

Some celebrity families, especially the ones who have had reality shows like the Kardashians and Simmonses, are famous for their seamless merging. Other famous families may not be as obvious; in fact, many people may not have even known some of these celebrities (or their spouses) were stepparents.

Other than multiple marriages or relationships, adoption is also a common way for celebrities (or anyone for that matter) to grow a family, and many parents adopt multiple times -- like Madonna and Angelina Jolie.

Here are 15 families that remind us of all the great ways a loving support system can be formed.

  • Ciara and Russell Wilson

While Ciara dated rapper Future, they had a son together, Future Zahir Wilburn. After their relationship ended, Ciara married Russell Wilson, quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. They recently had their first child together -- a daughter named Sienna Princess Wilson. The couple has been publicly displaying their happy family of four on social media since before Sienna was even born.

  • Madonna

Although Madonna is not currently married, that doesn't make her family any less whole. The mother of six has two biological children, Lourdes and Rocco, from previous relationships and four adopted children from Malawi, David, Mercy, Esther, and Stella.

This musical couple married in 2010 and since then they have had two children together, Egypt and Genesis. However, Alicia Keys is also close to her stepchildren, Nicole, Kasseem, and Prince, from her husband’s previous relationships. Swizz Beatz's ex-wife Mashonda has even been seen in photos with the couple and kids, so the three obviously do a pretty awesome job of co-parenting. Sidenote: Keys released a song called "Blended Family (What You Do for Love)" last year, inspired by her own family, of course.

  • Steve and Marjorie Harvey

Married since 2007, the couple has a combined squad of seven kids. Steve came into the marriage with four children from his two past marriages, Brandi, Karli, Broderick, and Wynton. Marjorie entered the marriage with three kids of her own, Morgan, Jason, and Lori, from a previous marriage.
