You already knew that Ryan Reynolds is one of the hottest dads in Hollywood, but did you realize that he's also a real-life superhero? Oh, well, yep, there's that too. The Deadpool star took to Instagram to share that because he once learned CPR through a Red Cross course, he actually ended up saving his nephew's life! And recently, Reynolds shared that he learned infant and toddler CPR, too.

"Years ago, I took a CPR course thru the Red Cross," wrote Reynolds, who has two girls -- James, 2, and Ines, 9 months -- with wife Blake Lively. "And holy shit, I ended up saving my nephew's life because I knew what to do! True story! Yesterday I took a refresher course -- focusing on infant and toddler CPR. It takes only a few hours and it's also kinda, sorta fun. Thank you to Dan from Viva First Aid for the lesson. And thank you to these two helpful yet lifeless dolls whose vacant ocular cavities will haunt me until end times."

First of all, how awesome is it that he saved his nephew's life? And second, you gotta give him lots of props for becoming an even more prepared papa and learning infant and toddler CPR! Really, that should be something all parents do!

Looks like Blake Lively agrees, as she also shared her own CPR-related post yesterday, writing, "ALL MAMAS AND DADDIES OUT THERE-- I can't recommend this enough, I took a CPR class with with a focus on babies and toddlers. Google 'infant CPR class near me' and you'll see lots of listings. For those of you who haven't done it, you will love it. It's so helpful by giving you knowledge, tools, and some peace of mind."
