It's no secret society's "standard of beauty" includes head-to-toe perfection that's not only unattainable, but also complete bull. Many people were shocked to see Kim Kardashian's cellulite when she donned a bikini in Mexico back in April, and the pics have the Internet buzzing once again. It seems like everyone has an opinion after Kim claimed those cellulite pics were photoshopped on a recent appearance on The View.

  • Social media had a field day after poking fun of the 36-year-old mom of two in a thong bikini and what looks like cellulite.

Though the image of cellulite should not warrant an "OMG, what is that?" response, people had no problem making insensitive comments about Kim's body, like, "She looks like she stings all over #ewww #nasty" on Twitter.

  • Um, talk about rude.

  • And now, Kim is speaking up about the photos, telling the women on "The View" they were hurtful and photoshopped to look bad.

"I saw these awful photos of myself when I was on a trip in Mexico," Kardashian tells The View during her interview. She continues:

"I hadn't worked out in 12 weeks, and had two surgeries on my uterus. I was already not feeling like myself, and then when people were sharpening [the photos] and making them look way worse -- and those were going around -- I was like, 'Okay, I'm going to get it together.'"

    We see you, Mama. Slay.

  • Fans have been taking to social media to support Kim and denounce body shaming of any and all kind.

  • Others feel empowered to embrace their bodies and the marks society deems imperfect.

  • And, of course, there were one or two who were quick to point out the irony of Kim crying Photoshop when she allegedly 'shops her pics on the regular.

Regardless of what you think of Kim, it's pretty horrible for people to go out of their way to photoshop her photos. Cellulite is nothing embarrassing or anything to be ashamed of. Most if not all of us have it -- so who the freak cares if a Kardashian has cellulite?
