Princess Kate Middleton and Prince William have a journey planned this summer, but it's not to the beach or to a vacation spot. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are going on a royal tour to Germany and Poland in July. The details of the trip are just starting to form, but the dates of the tour aren't exactly ideal considering the kids.

Will and Kate did take Prince George and Princess Charlotte when they went on the royal tour of Canada in September of last year. Though, there isn't yet indication whether or not the littlest royals will be accompanying their parents on this trip.

The timing is curious, however. According to ET, the itinerary is for an arrival in Warsaw, Poland, on July 17. In Poland, they are set to visit Gdansk on the Baltic Coast. Next, they will head to Germany to visit Berlin, Heidelberg, and Hamburg. Will and Kate are plan to return home on July 21. That very next day is Prince George's fourth birthday.

We're left wondering if this will be a whirlwind way to celebrate George's last days of being 3, or if the parents will leave their little ones at home so they are all rested up for the big party. Because there has to be a party, right?

One thing is certain: Late July is going to supply royal watchers with some of the best photos and special moments.
