It's going to be a very special Father's Day for five-time NBA All-Star Chris Webber. After "many years of trying and more than a few heartbreaks," the retired professional basketball player and his wife Erika Dates Webber just welcomed twins!

Webber, 44, who was drafted into the NBA in 1993 as the number one overall draft pick after leading a group of players known as the "Fab Five" at the University of Michigan, shared the following gorgeous pic -- and inspiring message! -- on Twitter as an announcement:

So gorgeous!! No word yet on the twins' names or genders (though we're guessing the one with flowers on her head is a girl, maybe?), but we do know that these babies are nothing short of a miracle, especially considering that the couple (who married in 2009) reportedly tried for eight long years to conceive.

Erika posted an absolutely beautiful picture of the new family that proves there's always hope -- and sometimes amazing, precious surprises -- just around the corner:

These words of gratitude are so meaningful, especially for any couple struggling with infertility. After all their hardships, the Webbers apparently didn't formally announce this pregnancy -- just spread the word through family and friends -- which is something, again, any couple who's faced infertility can understand. So it's truly wonderful to see that all of their hopes and prayers and efforts paid off in such a spectacular (and cute!!) way!

Congrats and best wishes to this lovely family!
