No matter how many Instagram followers they have or red carpets they've walked down, celebrities still go through silly, embarrassing, or altogether challenging times during pregnancy. Oh, sure, it may not seem like it at first glance, but that's because they have entire armies of people to style them, do their hair and makeup, feed them, etc. We know this more than ever now, thanks to celebs who are also social media queens (like Chrissy Teigen and Kristen Bell!) -- and are all about keeping it real during pregnancy.

The truth is that pregnancy is not pretty. Sure the stereotype of the glowing pregnant woman abounds, but in reality pregnancy is just a series of swelling, aching, and gas. So ... not the stuff of poetry. And celebrities are no exception to the rule. Even the most together actress has to admit defeat when it comes to fitting into her pre-pregnancy pants or having totally swollen ankles. Lucky for us we live in the golden age of everyone documenting everything, which means we were easily able to find celebrity women getting really real about pregnancy on the Internet.

Struggling to conceive is something so many couples experience -- regardless of celeb status. Chrissy Teigen was amazingly candid about this in her beautiful pregnancy announcement, writing, "As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn't been easy, but we kept trying because we can't wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We're so excited that it's finally happening." And then, there was Luna!

While pregnant with her second kiddo, the pop star joked that she'd fib to just get one ... single ... solitary ... sedentary ... moment, writing on Instagram, "When microwaving your decaf coffee becomes an excuse to sit on the floor and rest for a while.... #help#reststop #illjustbehereifyouneedme." We wouldn't blame any pregnant mom with a big kid for doing the same!
Whitney Port
The former Hills star, who is currently expecting her first child, has been documenting her experience with a YouTube series called, "I Love My Baby, But I Hate My Pregnancy."
"I am very candid and honest about the fact that the pregnancy, both physically and emotionally, has not been an easy process for me," she told Today. "Dealing with the extra hormones and being very sensitive to everything and feeling outside pressures. And physically, with my changing body, not having control over that ... morning sickness, exhaustion, aversion to food, broken blood vessels, bloody noses. All of these things that are not very fun."
