Talk about a royally good time. On Saturday, Prince William, Prince Harry, and Kate Middleton hosted a kids' party at Buckingham Palace. The party was in honor of the children of those who died while serving in the Armed Forces. Approximately 850 little ones showed up to spend time with the royals, get their faces painted, and decorate some cupcakes.

Harry and the duke and duchess mingled with the little guests while they enjoyed a tea party, slung water balloons out of a slingshot, and attempted plate spinning. Everyone appeared to be having a lovely time. And the duchess, who wore a gorgeous yellow See by Chloe dress, looked stunning.

Kensington Palace shared a few photos of the event, and everything looked beautiful.

The Royal Air Force even dropped by the party!

More from CafeMom:

The children who attended the event obviously have lives that are much more difficult than those living in households with two parents. Hopefully, they enjoyed their special day as much as possible. No doubt, Kate, who always seems to be moved by children dealing with misfortune, made all of them feel loved, cared for, and incredibly important.

Such a beautiful event for beautiful children -- one these sweet kids will remember forever.
