Peeking inside someone's kitchen tells you a lot about that person, and the peek Meghan Markle recently gave as to what's in her fridge is no exception. She spilled the beans in an interview with Good Housekeeping and dished on the five foods she always has stocked.

She told the mag:

Hummus, carrots -- because I love them and so does my dog, Bogart, strangely -- a green juice, almond milk, for sure, and a chia seed pudding I make every single week. So easy, so good. I really love to cook.

So healthy! No wonder why she has that glowing skin, fantastic body, and amazing mane of hair. That all can't be maintained while eating a diet of Ding Dongs and Doritos. (Though maybe she has a secret stash of those in her pantry?)

It's always fun to hear celebrities talk about their eating indulgences, because, hey, we all need our fixes of junk food sometimes. But to think that they look as amazing as they do while eating crap all the time is just unrealistic, except for perhaps a very fortunate few. So it's nice when they don't try to make us think that their looks are effortless, because usually they're a result of genetics, yes, but also healthy habits.

Markle also revealed her favorite meal to cook:

There is honestly nothing as delicious, or as impressive, in my opinion, as a perfectly roasted chicken. It's a game-changer. I bring that to dinner parties and make a lot of friends.

Sounds delicious. Just don't forget to send a note if you're ever lucky enough to attend one of those parties. She also revealed her penchant for handwritten notes. "The idea of someone taking the time to put pen to paper is really special," she said.

We hope Harry is taking notes!
