Demi Lovato is one of those friends in my head (I'm not crazy, I promise) who gives me such inspo on social media. Whether she's unashamedly showing off her curves or giving us glimpses of her Brazilian jiu-jitsu prowess, this "Confident" singer will always turn heads. Demi Lovato's new tattoo is pretty badass, but, of course, it's causing a bit of controversy. (*Insert eye roll here*)

Folks these days are so damn petty, it's hard to do anything without someone calling a party foul on you.

You're breathing the same way as someone. Your pants from Target look just like my friend's. Your haircut looks like you stole the idea from so-and-so.

Blah, blah, blah, blah blah.

I think Demi's tattoo looks great and don't think anyone has an exclusive right to sport an animal tat. Rather than try to make such a big deal out of a nonissue -- or throw shade at someone for the sake of throwin' shade -- can't we all just live and let live?

If you like Demi's lion tattoo, cool -- and if you don't, that's cool. The end.
