So sweet. Prince William and Prince Harry have always made a concerted effort to keep the memory of Princess Diana alive -- and they've certainly succeeded. Next month, though, William and Harry will honor Diana in a way they never have before: by presenting an award in her honor at an awards ceremony for the Diana Award charity.

According to People, Prince Harry and the Duke of Cambridge will present the Legacy Award on May 18 at St. James's Palace. The award is new to the Diana Award's lineup and is intended to honor a young person who has made a significant effect on their community, and whose work has inspired others without receiving payment or recognition. The recipient will be given the chance to participate in a program that will help them hone their leadership, social entrepreneurship, technology, and community development skills -- and of course, receive an award from William and Harry.

More from CafeMom:

Tessy Ojo, the CEO of the Diana Award, understandably, is thrilled that Harry and William will be presenting this award in their mother's honor. "Princess Diana is widely remembered for her values of compassion, kindness and service to others, irrespective of their culture, race or background," Ojo said in a statement. "Twenty years on, we are delighted that both her sons -- the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry -- will be presenting this unique and prestigious Legacy Award to our future leaders at St. James's Palace.

The Diana Award charity was created in memory of Princess Diana in an effort to honor her belief that young people have the power to change the world. The 20th anniversary of her death is this August, so having William and Harry present this year couldn't be more perfect.

How proud their mum would be. Keep up the good work, boys.
