The wild ride of pregnancy is definitely unique for everyone. While some women fully embrace their baby bump, the cravings, and all the other quirks that go along with creating a tiny human, others aren't as excited about those long nine months. And, of course, celeb moms-to-be are no different when it comes to loving, hating, or feeling something in between about the journey.

When you think about it, expectant moms do go through a complete mental and physical change that affects every woman in various ways. And while you do get a beautiful baby at the end, it's no wonder that some moms aren't exactly fans of how they feel in the process.

From developing serious health conditions to getting the "itchies" and other uncomfortable side effects, these celeb moms and moms-to-be aren't afraid to get real and admit that they weren't (or aren't) exactly in love with being pregnant.

  • Kim Kardashian West

It's no secret that Kim Kardashian West was not a fan of being pregnant, as the reality star admitted on her website and app in a post entitled "How I Really Feel About Being Pregnant."

Pregnant with Saint at the time, she literally called it "the worst experience of [her] life." The mom of two went on to write: "I don't enjoy one moment of it and I don't understand people who enjoy it. My mom and Kourtney clearly did! More power to them but I just don't relate!" And this mama is not alone.

  • Whitney Port

Hills alum Whitney Port recently announced her pregnancy on Instagram with a cute snap of her pregnancy belly. But that's not all. Looks like this expectant mom is back to the reality TV game (sort of), as she's documenting her pregnancy journey in her "I Love My Baby, But Hate My Pregnancy" video series. And she's keeping it real about morning sickness, gas pains, and feeling "gross" in general.

She writes in the video description of her first video:

Please do not get alarmed by the title! I know 'hate' is a strong word but I think in that very moment, that was how I was feeling and so we stuck with it! As the pregnancy progresses and my symptoms subside, I hope that's not how I will feel anymore! I already love our baby to pieces but feeling yucky all the time is a 'hate-able' thing!

We can't wait to tune in and get our fill of Hills nostalgia. Maybe Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag (talk about a Hills baby boom!) will guest star -- and drop their own truths.

  • Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson got candid about her "horrible" experience on Jenny McCarthy's SiriusXM radio show. "Nothing is beautiful, nothing is magical. Whatever, you're that person that gets that pregnancy, good for you. But I will remind my children every day of their lives what I did," said the American Idol alum of her two pregnancies.

  • Anna Faris

We love seeing mom Anna Faris post those rare but adorable photos of her son Jack, but the Mom actress didn't much care for pregnancy. And she voiced her opinion in her "Anna Faris Is Unqualified" podcast: "I didn't love pregnancy ... I was just bored. I was uncomfortable at times, and Jack came early. He came two months early, so now I'm in a high-risk pregnancy category ... " The 40-year-old has, though, hinted at wanting a big family, so perhaps having another with hubby Chris Pratt isn't off the table.

  • Melissa Joan Hart

This mom of three boys knows that pregnancy isn't for the faint of heart. The Melissa & Joey star told People, "I would have seven babies if I didn't have to be pregnant. I hate being pregnant -- the lack of energy at the beginning ... having to change your diet ... It's a huge adjustment and you have to change your whole lifestyle for a few months."

  • Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff may not have had a difficult pregnancy, but that doesn't mean that this mama is a cheerleader for the cause. After giving birth to son Luca, the Younger star explained to Parade, "... a part of me isn't like those women who love being pregnant. I love my baby and I miss that feeling of being attached to him when he's kicking, but I was so ready to not be pregnant."

Third time is not the charm -- at least not for Rizzoli & Isles' Angie Harmon. While pregnant with her third child, the actress didn't have it easy. With morning sickness, anemia, and even tearing a disk in her back, who could blame this mama for not liking it that time around?

The actress spoke on her troubles during an interview with Pregnancy magazine:

[W]ith this pregnancy I have not had two good days in a row; talk about frustration. And you can pile the guilt of not being able to take care of the other kids like I like to right on top of that. Thank God I'm getting a baby at the end of this, because if I wasn't I'd be insane right now!

    We hear you.

Jaime Pressly is like many moms when it comes to loving the rewards of birth, but she's in no way oblivious to the work it takes. "The truth is that I love my baby to bits, but the rest of it sucked. Pregnancy was the biggest killer for me. I hated it ... " said the My Name is Earl actress when talking about her son Dezi.

  • Mariah Carey

While weight gain, bloating, and swelling are common symptoms, some pregnant women feel it to the extreme -- much like mom Mariah Carey. The songstress reportedly used the term "rancid" in reference to her pregnancy body when talking to Gayle King at a press event.

Mimi apparently went so far as to hide her figure from now ex-husband Nick Cannon. She even said, "You think I would let Nick see me looking rancid like that?" Talk about feeling uncomfortable in your own skin!

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi told her truth in her book Baby Bumps: From Party Girl to Proud Mama, and all the Messy Milestones Along the Way. And during an interview, she revealed the unglamorous side of pregnancy. "A lot of the books don't tell you the truth like you're going to pee yourself, how disgusting pregnancy is but in the end you have a child so it's all worth it but the whole pregnancy is just gross," said the Jersey Shore star after her first pregnancy. Luckily, she knew what to expect for baby number two.

  • Christina Applegate

We all know the stories about raging pregnancy hormones, but Christina Applegate knows firsthand how crazy they can make you. According to the Bad Moms star (who experienced bad morning sickness), "You're stepping back from yourself and you're watching this insane monster in front of you that's you. And you want to stop her, but she is kind of fun to watch ... "

  • Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow loves her kids Apple and Moses, but that doesn't mean that her pregnancies were exactly pleasurable -- due to wanting "to throw up all the time." When talking about whether or not she'd give it another try, the Goop founder told Harper's Bazaar in 2008, "I may force myself to do it one more time because the result is so worth it."

In 2008, country singer Sara Evans said she was open to having more kids with then-fiancé Jay Barker. But she made it perfectly clear in an interview that she was taking her time: " ... I'm in no hurry because I hate being pregnant." And no one can blame her for waiting, as they already have a blended family of seven.

  • Tamar Braxton

Braxton Family Values fans know that Tamar Braxton has been very vocal about her aversion to being pregnant. The "Love & War" singer admitted in an interview with Flaunt, "I hated being pregnant. I felt like Invasion of the Body Snatchers. It's beautiful and it's great just like everyone says, but there's another side to it. My back. My feet. My skin went absolutely nuts. I had the itchies the whole day. Imagine scratching all day and you can never get to the itch." Talk about having a tough time!

  • Jenni 'JWoww' Farley

Jenni "JWoww" Farley thankfully didn't have to go through pregnancy alone, as BFF Snooki was also pregnant with her second child at the time. Even so, no pregnancy experience is exactly alike. She told Us Weekly, "I'm not a fan of pregnancy right now with my thighs touching and my boobs changing but I know it will be worth it and hopefully I get back to that really quickly." If only it were that simple.
