Adorable dad alert: Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt has always come across as a relatable everyman (never mind a super-ripped one, depending on the movie he's in), and his latest Instagram post -- in which he describes being woken up in the middle of the night by his son -- confirms he's pretty much every parent ever.

Pratt is in Tokyo right now with his wife, actress Anna Faris, and their 4-year-old son, Jack, as Dad promotes the upcoming Guardians sequel. Anyone who follows the funnyman on Instagram knows he often treats his fans to sweet photos and videos of his ridiculously adorable family -- and in his latest pic, he added a blurb that reminded us why we love him so much:

Papa Chris writes:

My dear sweet @annafaris getting flashbacks from her hilarious role in Lost in Translation. Thank you for the support honey! You look so beautiful. These press tours can be such a whirlwind. I'm grateful to have you and the boy with me on this one. Although it's 3:00am right now, I was just awakened by a square kick to the back as little man climbed into bed and then must have had a karate dream or something and now I can't sleep. I'm on insta instead. All you dads and moms know what I'm talking about.

Yes, Chris. Yes.

In fact, model Tess Holliday even responded in the comments with a resounding "Too real" followed by the cry-laughing emoji and the OK-hand emoji.

Need more cuteness from this family? Check out little Jack going on an "adventure" among Tokyo's beautiful cherry blossoms:

Pratt has always been open about being a proud dad and husband, and it's one of the things we admire about him. Jack was actually a preemie, born nine weeks early, and Pratt has used his social media platform to raise awareness about premature birth. A year after Jack was born, the actor opened up to People about the experience:

We were scared for a long time. We prayed a lot. It restored my faith in God, not that it needed to be restored, but it really redefined it.

The baby was so beautiful to us, and I look back at the photos of him and it must have been jarring for other people to come in and see him, but to us he was so beautiful and perfect.

Faris spoke to the mag at the time too, saying about her husband: "He's a really loving father, he is an incredible husband. He doesn't let fame seduce him. He's still the same dude."

Just more reason for us to keep loving this family. More pics and videos, please, Chris!
