Lara & Eric Trump Are Going to Be Parents -- See Their Announcements

Congratulations are in order for Eric and Lara Trump! The happy couple announced today that they're expecting their first child together. And, spoiler alert: They're having a boy. This will make grandchild number nine for Donald Trump and family, but we're sure no one is more excited than the parents-to-be.

"I knew I always wanted kids someday," the former Insider Edition producer, who's currently in her second trimester, told People.

The two received the big news about the pregnancy on the First Son's birthday, and the pair seems pretty excited to meet their baby in September.

But they're not the only ones. "Eric's dad was so excited ... that we were worried he'd blurt it out at a press conference," mentioned Lara. (Now would be a good time to take his tweeting power away, too!)

The expectant parents aren't strangers to being around kids, as they have had tons of practice in the babysitting department.

"Eric's going to be an amazing dad. The nieces and nephews love hanging with him. He's the cool uncle. He's watched Frozen many times," Lara told the mag.

Like most moms, she's adjusting to pregnancy as normal. She explained, "It surprised me, because I'm a very active person, and until the fatigue hit, I didn't believe it would actually happen to me. It really affected me. But I'm feeling really good now."

We're wishing this growing family the best as they prepare for this new addition!

Of course, we also hope that, as issues concerning prenatal and maternity care directly affect the Trump family, President Trump will reflect on his and the Republican Congress's current health care initiatives and realize that moms -- and women, in general -- deserve the same health care and coverage that his daughter-in-law is likely receiving.
