Congratulations are in order, as the founder of Facebook is about to welcome a new "friend." Mark Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan are expecting baby #2, the Facebook founder announced on his ubiquitious social media platform Thursday. It'll be another girl for the pair, whose first daughter, Max, is 18 months old, and the tech titan couldn't be more excited to be the father of two girls.

In what has to be one of the sweetest pregnancy announcements we've ever read, Zuckerberg wrote:

When Priscilla and I first found out she was pregnant again, our first hope was that the child would be healthy. My next hope was that it would be a girl. I cannot think of a greater gift than having a sister and I'm so happy Max and our new child will have each other.

That's so sweet to hear. Many parents want their second child to be the opposite sex of their first so they can experience "one of each." While that's lovely, sometimes a brother and sister aren't necessarily as close as pair of brothers or sisters might be. It's also nice that these two will be so close in age. And we appreciate that the billionaire recognizes the awesomeness of sisterhood and the power of strong women.

I grew up with three sisters and they taught me to learn from smart, strong women. They weren't just my sisters but some of my best friends. They've gone on to write books, excel at performance, music, sports, cooking and their careers. They showed me how to compete and still laugh together afterwards.

You've got to love how much he appreciates family. It sounds like his wife feels the exact same way. He continued in his post:

Priscilla grew up with two sisters and they taught her the importance of family, caring for others and hard work. They supported each other as first generation college students and in their careers in medicine and business. They have so many inside jokes -- the kind only siblings can understand.

He even posted this adorable throwback pic of Priscilla with her little sis. Too cute!

What's also nice is that the man who redefined "sharing" has been very open about the challenges he and his longtime love experienced trying to have a child. Priscilla, a pediatrician, experienced recurrent miscarriages before conceiving Max, so we can imagine that they're over the moon to be expecting again.

Zuckerberg wrote: "After our difficult experience having Max, we weren't sure what to expect or whether we'd be able to have another child."

We're thrilled for them and their growing family. His post came one day after International Women's Day, making it the perfect time to celebrate the arrival of another girl. He concluded his post with this uplifting and empowering message:

"We are all better people because of the strong women in our lives -- sisters, mothers and friends. We can't wait to welcome our new little one and do our best to raise another strong woman."
