Keeping traditions alive. On Wednesday, Kim Kardashian's late father, Robert Kardashian, would have been 73 years old. Not surprisingly, the Kardashian clan all shared sweet sentiments about their dad on social media. But on Twitter, Kim went a little deeper, revealing that, thanks to her father, she now has a beautiful tradition she keeps alive with her children, North and Saint.

"I found a 3 page letter my dad wrote me right after high school about life and it's so special to have. I re-read it last night," Kim told her fans. Apparently, her father used to write her letters to Kim, who was 23 years old when he died. And now Kim is doing the same thing with her children. "I write my kids a letter each year reflecting on the year we had together & fun memories," she wrote on Twitter. "I'll give the letters to them when they turn 21."

Such a precious tradition. North and Saint will be thrilled to see these letters when they're older -- and Kim and Kanye will love rereading them.

Kim of course wasn't the only Kardashian to post about how much she missed her father. Kourtney and Rob also posted about their dad.

Clearly, Robert still holds a very special place in all of his family members' hearts. He sounds like he would have made an amazing grandfather, and no doubt, North and Saint will be grateful for the idea he gave their mother.
