Jamie Lynn Spears Shares First Photo of Maddie Since Her Terrifying Accident

Some might say this picture is truly proof that miracles are possible. Jamie Lynn Spears shared the first photo of her daughter, Maddie, following the accident that left family, friends, and fans fearing the worst. But, in a Valentine's Day pic that's sure to make your heart swell, the adorable 8-year-old looks remarkable -- especially considering all she's been through.

Talk about resilient! Maddie was trapped underwater for two minutes after the ATV she was riding overturned into a pond. Thankfully, though, she not only pulled through, but she was also cleared by doctors to visit her classmates -- just in time for Valentine's Day. 

Talk a look at this brave young lady who has plenty to celebrate no matter what holiday it is!

We love her sweet smile, and those red nails are so perfect for Valentine's Day. It's amazing to see her looking so healthy after such a frightening ordeal. What an awesome sense of relief and gratitude her mom and the whole Spears family must be feeling. 

It's been wonderful to see the outpouring of support for Maddie and her family. We're so thrilled this incident -- clearly any parent's worst nightmare -- has had such a fantastic outcome. And, we're also glad that both Jamie Lynn and her big sister, Britney, took time to keep worried fans updated as to Maddie's condition.
