This star is surrounded by beautiful women this Valentine's Day. Actress Blake Lively celebrated Galentine's Day with her sister Robyn and their mom Elaine, proving that relationships among women sometimes trump romance. What a cool and empowering statement for the mom of two daughters to make!

Lively teamed up with L'Oreal to help launch their Paints + Colorista line and host the ultimate Galentine's Party celebrating women. She told E! News how it all came about:

"L'Oréal told me this idea they had to have a Valentine's event with your gals -- your best girlfriends. I thought, 'Right now, more than ever, it's so great that  and building each other up.' I got a little too involved. I said, 'I don't really just want to show up. I sort of want to plan it.' It's a lot more fun to plan a party when it's not on your dime. I changed the party a bit."

The Shallows star stunned with her mom and sis by her side. Love that flirty and feminine dress with its pretty hearts and sequins pattern.

You can see good looks really run in the family.

We love that the mom of two daughters, James, 2, and Ines, 4 months, is setting such a great example of the power of sisterhood. Seeing her close relationships with her mom and sis, we can't help but believe she'll foster the same in her own girls.

Blake's awesome message shouldn't come as any surprise to fans. While accepting her People's Choice Award for Favorite Dramatic Actress, the Café Society star shared her love for the 1980s super-group the Spice Girls, who were all about "girl power."

We love to see any busy mom taking time to celebrate the beauty and importance of female friendships -- especially when she has such a large platform to share it.
