Kate Middleton Shows Some Major Skin at the BAFTA Awards

Absolutely gorgeous! That's the only way to describe Kate Middleton at the BAFTA Awards over the weekend. Prince William and his wife made an appearance at the British version of the Academy Awards on Sunday, and the mom of two definitely turned heads.


The Duchess of Cambridge attended the EE British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) in a patterned black Alexander McQueen number, while her hubby opted for a classic tuxedo. She showed off some major skin with bare shoulders and arms, but still managed to look every bit the princess that she is.

Even though Kate shared the red carpet with the likes of Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Amy Adams, the crowd reportedly gasped when they saw her, and even the other stars tried to "crane their necks to get a good look," according to People. Can you really blame them though? She looked lovely.

During the show, Prince William presented an award to Mel Brooks -- the prestigious BAFTA Fellowship. The 90-year-old comedian accepted the award with his signature humor, and apologized to the royals for the American Revolution. "We were young," he explained.
