Rob Kardashian Is Reportedly Considering Drastic Measures to Lose Weight

It looks like he might finally be biting the bullet where his health is concerned. According to sources, Rob Kardashian has decided to undergo gastric bypass surgery, after failing to maintain his weight loss.

While it seemed like he was on a good path for a while where his weight was concerned, his tumultuous relationship with Blac Chyna may have put him over the edge in the maintenance department.

Last month it was reported that Rob had a diabetes flare-up that required hospitalization, allegedly after an episode of binge-eating. The incident took place just a couple of days after the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star tweeted that Chyna had left him (along with their 2-month-old daughter Dream).

Although the couple reconciled, it was rumored that Chyna drunkenly hit Rob in a violent fight that ended with her being restrained by Kris Jenner's boyfriend Corey Gamble.

Needless to say, Rob has a lot on his plate to deal with, and hasn't been able to conquer his weight problems the old-fashioned way. After hitting the 300 pound mark, an insider revealed to OK! magazine, "He's not lost any weight at all and he's all but given up on it happening the hard way. He considered a stomach stapling last year, but Chyna talked him out of it and got him in the gym."

Also according to the source, Chyna is not happy about Rob's decision to do the surgery, as she had hoped to launch a career as a fitness guru. She apparently was going to use Rob's success at the gym as a marketing tactic -- but gastric bypass sort of puts a big crimp in that.

Whether the rumors are true or not, we wish Rob the best, and are just happy that he's working on his health -- whatever that looks like for him.
