It's the burning question Counting On fans want to know: Why is Jana Duggar still single? The eldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar will be 27 next month, yet she has never entered into a public courtship.

There have been rumors through the years that Jana has courted before, but never decided to go public with it. Heck, she was even tied to former NFL star Tim Tebow a couple of years ago, even though the two never actually met.

Anyway, fans seem pretty obsessed over Jana's relationship status, or lack thereof, especially considering that three of her younger sisters are married and settled down, and even 19-year-old Joy-Anna Duggar just entered into a courtship with Austin Forsyth.

Jana has often been dubbed the Cinderella Duggar, and rumors flew recently that her parents are actually keeping her captive so that they don't lose their live-in nanny. As an official stay-at-home-daughter, Jana takes on lot of the household duties and chores that might overwhelm Michelle otherwise.

According to the reality star, though, she's perfectly content where she is, and the reason she hasn't gotten married yet is simply because she hasn't found anyone she wants to say "yes" to yet.

She recently told Radar Online, "There have been different guys who have come along and asked, but they haven't been, I don't know, the right one." Jana continued that it was tempting to accept someone just for the heck of it, but thus far, she has resisted.

"It can be tempting, like, 'Oh, I really want to be married,' because in those moments, your siblings that are married and have little ones are going on dates and doing their thing," she shared. "It's like this weird in-between stage. I'm not a younger one, but I'm not an older, married one with kids."

We have to give Jana major props for this, considered the pressure she must feel to get married sooner rather than later. Not only does she likely feel the pressure from her family's patriarchal brand of Christianity, but it's also her only chance to get out from under her parents' rule.

Unless of course she ever decided to move out and make a go of it on her own. Now that's a reality show we're dying to watch.
