'Counting On' Renewed Just in Time for Another Duggar Courtship

They're coming back! Season 3 of the Duggar family's show Counting On will be back in January, after speculation that TLC would finally be pulling the plug on the franchise.

After 19 Kids and Counting was pulled from the airwaves over a year ago for Josh Duggar's multiple sex scandals, it's been touch-and-go each season for the family's spin-off show. Several advertisers have pulled out of funding the franchise, yet it seems that enough viewers remain to make it worth the network's while.

Season 2 of the show focused mainly on Jinger Duggar's courtship with Jeremy Vuolo, and the finale this week was a wedding special as the lovebirds tied the knot.

During Tuesday night's finale, 19-year-old Joy-Anna Duggar made a special announcement that she's courting longtime family friend Austin Forsyth, who comes from a similar religious background as herself.

We have no doubt that season 3 of Counting On will follow their courtship (and possible engagement?) as well as the birth of Jessa and Ben Seewald's second child, and Jinger and Jeremy's new life together in Laredo, Texas.
