Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Aren't Quite Ready to Go Public Yet

Royal watchers who are dying to see this handsome prince follow in his big brother's footsteps may have to wait a bit longer. Prince Harry and girlfriend Meghan Markle opted not to appear in public together to the disappointment of fans who were hoping to catch their first glimpse of the lovebirds as a couple.

The Suits actress was supposedly visiting her dashing boyfriend, arguably the world's most eligible bachelor, at Buckingham Palace. But, unfortunately, she did not attend Saturday's rugby match between England and South Africa on the prince's arm as many had hoped.

Instead, Markle, who's been plagued by harassment and intrusions into her personal life since the news of this relationship was made public, reportedly went home to Toronto. We suppose can't blame her. It was only last week that Kensington Palace issued a statement calling for the press to respect the 35-year-old actress's privacy.

As much as it would be amazing to spend time with the prince, especially at something as fun and leisurely as a sporting event, it makes sense that they wouldn't want to take their relationship public with all that Markle's endured in the past few weeks.

If they attended the match, they'd no doubt be hounded by paparazzi, causing unnecessary stress for both of them.
