Michael Buble Is Stepping Out of the Spotlight as His Son Battles Cancer

This family may have a long, hard road ahead but they seem to be totally focused on the recovery of their son, proving they have their priorities in order. After it was announced that his 3-year-old son Noah is battling cancer, beloved crooner Michael Buble most likely won't sing again until the boy is well, family friend David Foster told ET Canada.

Foster, who has been a longtime mentor to Buble, said that the "Haven't Met You Yet" singer is "in a bubble" right now, completely focused on the recovery of the adorable tot, who reportedly began chemotherapy to treat liver cancer.

Buble canceled his upcoming performance at the BBC Music Awards on December 12 and posted this message on his official Facebook page explaining why he and his wife, actress Luisana Lopilato, will be putting their careers on hold:

The picture-perfect family has been receiving lots of love on social media, with many fans using the hashtag #PrayingforNoah.

Like the rest of us, Foster is rooting for this boy and the Buble family, believing that the singer's good karma will come back to him, telling ET Canada, "He's done a lot of good for a lot of people and I think this is going to have a great, fantastic ending to it and be a new beginning."

We absolutely hope so.
