New Details Emerge About Pippa Middleton's Wedding

We have a date! After months of speculation, insiders are now reporting that Pippa Middleton will tie the knot in May 2017. Kate Middleton's sister has been engaged since July, and it looks as though she and her fiancé James Matthews have settled on a wedding date.

A friend close to the royal in-law told People magazine, "Of course she is super excited and already planning everything." The insider also said of the soon-to-be married couple, "[They] have a lot in common -- he's charming and old-fashioned. Everyone thinks he's quite the catch."

We're sure it doesn't hurt anything that Matthews also has an estimated net worth well over $2 billion.

Not many details about the wedding have been revealed, but we have a feeling no expense will be spared. Matthews proposed to Middleton on July 17 in England's Lake District, and slipped a gorgeous, custom-made ring on her finger.

According to the same friend, "He would never have bought something off-the-peg for her, it had to be very special." The ring is described as an "octagonal halo of sparking channel-set diamonds," worth more than $250,000.

One onlooker who saw them brunching in London (looking like quite the normal couple indeed) told the mag, "The ring is enormous! Perhaps even more so because she is so petite."

Pippa may not be marrying a real-life prince, but we have no doubt that she's living the fairy tale.
