Kim Kardashian Sues Media Company for Libel After They Attack Her Character

Kim Kardashian files a lawsuit The past week or so has likely been a bit of a nightmare for Kim Kardashian as she recovers from the trauma of the Paris robbery. There's a certain feeling of fear that stays with you long after your personal space has been invaded in such a way. So it's totally understandable Kim is suing Media Takeout and it's founder for libel after they wrote a series of articles insinuating that the heist was just a hoax to swindle her insurance company out of millions.

The lawsuit was filed in a New York federal court and claims that Kim Kardashian was "the victim of a horrific and traumatic armed robbery in France," and upon returning to the United States, she was again victimized, but this time by an online gossip tabloid that published a series of articles in early October 2016 referring to her as a liar and thief.

Here's the thing -- we're all entitled to our opinion. You're allowed to raise an eyebrow or two in response to your gut feeling when something just doesn't seem right. But what you can't do is viciously attack someone's character through a news outlet with absolutely zero evidence to back up the claims.

Currently the robbery is still being investigated, and from our understanding, there is absolutely no evidence that Kim is behind her violent robbery.

Hopefully this will serve as a lesson for others planning on getting too mouthy without having all of the facts. Otherwise, they ought to be ready to put their money where their mouth is, because a lawsuit from Kim Kardashian can't possibly come cheap.
