16 Celeb Costumes That Slayed TF Out of Halloween

Ciara Halloween party

Halloween is just around the corner. Some may think it's a given that you'd already have your costume prepped and ready -- but sometimes sh*t happens and life gets in the way and, well, Halloween creeps up on you -- Too. Damn. Fast. But fear not, because we've gathered quite a bit of inspo from some of Hollywood's finest.

Depending on your budget and DIY costume design skill set, you might not be able to get quite as extravagant as some of these stars, but you can definitely get an idea or two from these throwback pics of celebs donning their awesome 2015 Halloween attire.

    Coming to America🎃

The Bey-Z (technically Knowles-Carter) family always steals the show, so of course we'd expect nothing less than for the trio to show up and show out in their Coming to America costumes. Think I'm lying that this crew is always on point? Just take a look at the year that Beyonce and baby Blue went as Janet and Michael Jackson. Easily the most flawless family to trick-or-treat (or whatever rich people do) that year.

  • Ciara & Russell Wilson

Last year singer Ciara threw one hell of a party for her 30th birthday -- which is just a week shy of Halloween -- prompting some of our favorite celebs to come dressed as superheros. With it being her own party, you can believe she came correct with her hubby (then boyfriend) Russell Wilson, the two of them dressed as Catwoman and Batman. To top it off, the dynamic duo pulled up in the Batmobile. Nice touch, guys.

  • Gigi Hadid

TELL ME ABOUT IT, STUD. 🕶⚡️ (@jennifer_yepez @monicarosestyle & @erinparsonsmakeup are the real MVPs)

Gigi Hadid was a blast from the past in her Sandy-gone-bad (we're talking Grease here, people) costume. And, needless to say, she did the fan-favorite character (originally played by Olivia Newton-John) all the justice in the world -- from her perfect ringlets tossed to the side to the "tell me about it, stud" caption on her Halloween post.

  • Heidi Klum

Thank you @csiriano for my gorgeous #JessicaRabbit gown! #HeidiHalloween

The good thing about having money is that you don't have to half-ass your Halloween costumes. And I mean this almost literally, since Heidi Klum had a makeup artist give her the butt needed to pull of this look. That said, there's no denying that this is one top-notch Jessica Rabbit costume. Klum is another celeb who's always killing the costume game -- so, I can't wait to see what she has in store this year.

  • Beyonce & Friends

Remember how I told you all your fave celebs showed up to Ciara's party? Well, I forgot to mention that, along with Kelly Rowland, Beyonce was in the building --  and I'm pretty sure she ruled the room with her intricate Storm superhero costume. Seriously, I almost want her cast as the next Storm -- but I wouldn't want Queen B to have to give up any time on the musical front.

  • Rihanna

Rihanna came to win with this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costume. She's got every detail down pat, from her green skin to her faux turtle shell. She definitely ranks highly (in my heart, at least) as one of Halloween's best masters of disguise.

  • Katy Perry

*Drops mic on your Halloween* 🎤⤵️

A photo posted by KATY PERRY (@katyperry) on

Katy Perry got silly with her costume and hit us with a mic drop -- almost literally. I'm loving that she didn't even make this the slightest bit sexy, which has become the norm for many women's costumes. Of course, we're not surprised she toppled over. That mic getup looks super top heavy.

  • Kylie Jenner

    my ninjas

A photo posted by Kylie (@kyliejenner) on

I'm guessing Kylie Jenner came as a sword-wielding warrior princess -- and she looks damn good as she slays whatever far away kingdom she and her ninjas are off to (or whatever costume party she and her entourage are seriously ready to rock).

  • Nicki Minaj

    I'm a fairy fkng princess 😂

A photo posted by Nicki Minaj (@nickiminaj) on

Nicki Minaj is probably the sexiest fairy princess we've ever seen. Not only is that tutu on fleek, but her jeweled corset, tiarra, and wand give us sparkle for days.

  • Kelly Sawyer & Jessica Alba

    #romyandmichelle #halloween @kellysawyer n I invented post-its

A photo posted by Jessica Alba (@jessicaalba) on

Model Kelly Sawyer and Jessica Alba channeled BFFs Romy and Michelle from Romy and Michele's High School Reunion. While the look is a fairly simple one, we have to give them props for thinking outside the box with this costume. Not too many people would opt for this particular duo, and I'm not sure why -- they, like, invented Post-Its.

  • Victoria Justice

Last night was epic. It was an honor to dress up as one of my favorite artists ever. #LoveUAmy 🎶

A photo posted by Victoria Justice (@victoriajustice) on

Victoria Justice is like we've never seen before, as she embodies the late and great Amy Winehouse in this absolute win of a costume. With Amy's signature beehive, tats, and winged eyeliner, the Nick star got every detail to perfection. I think Amy would be honored.

  • Neil Patrick Harris

A long time ago in a Halloween far, far away....

A photo posted by Neil Patrick Harris (@nph) on

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka took a page from the Star Wars handbook with these family costumes that scream #SquadGoals. There's no doubt in my mind that they dropped jaws everywhere with this cool quad getup.

  • Austin Butler and Vanessa Hudgens

    #pulpfiction @austinbutler

A photo posted by Vanessa Hudgens (@vanessahudgens) on

Austin Butler and Vanessa Hudgens took us all the way back with their Pulp Fiction costumes. The duo flawlessly channeled John Travolta (Vincent Vega) and Uma Thurman (Mia Wallace) from the ultimate '90s cult classic.

  • Poppy Delevingne

I'm sure we'll be seeing a whole lot more Harley Quinn costumes this year, but I'm not sure her character will never be executed oh-so effortlessly as Poppy Delevingne made it look. Sure, she's no match for Margot Robbie (because duh, it's Margot Robbie), but this is definitely a close second.

  • Emily Ratajkowski

Emily Ratajkowski came as one of television's most iconic women of all time -- Marge Simpson -- and mastered the look with glorious simplicity. Thanks to that iconic hair for a major pop of color!

  • Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson showed up as biker babe with this hot leather Sons of Anarchy–inspired number. I'm sure she and mom Goldie Hawn (yep, she's in there, too) caused more than enough anarchy as they turned heads in their ensemble costume.
