Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar Take Another Dig at the Transgender Community

They totally stepped in it again. The Duggars took a dig at the transgender community in a recent blog post, and while we can't say that we're surprised they feel this way, we are a little taken aback that they even went there.

The post started innocently enough, as a list of prayer requests for Jim Bob and Michelle's 19 children. The Counting On stars included the typical appeals to pray for their children's salvation, their mates, that they be kept from evil, etc.

Until you get to the last item on the list -- That our boys would be glad to be boys and our girls glad to be girls.

Why include that? And do the girls always have to be happy to be girls, because I'm pretty sure there a few days a month that most females of a certain age wish they didn't have ovaries or a uterus. But whatever.

Anyway, this isn't the first time the controversial family has made a stand against the trans community. In 2014, Michelle Duggar made waves for fighting an anti-discrimination law in Arkansas for trans people. The Duggar matriarch has also reportedly cut off contact with her openly gay sister, Evelyn Ruark.

Given everything that the family has been through with Josh Duggar and his multiple sex scandals in the last year and a half, you'd think they would have stuck with something more along the lines of, "That our boys keep it in their pants and not make giant, hypocritical fools out of themselves.

Potato, po-tah-to.
